Whole body Wellness is an holisitic approach to health and lifestyle. It encompasses your physical, mental, emotional health and the necessary balance of all three. If these aspects of your well being are not acknowledged and nourished an imbalance will always be present. Living this philosophy has brought me greater understanding of my body, tools for reducing stress, a softer perspective, and a resilience to embrace each year as they come.
Whole Body Wellness allowed me to tap into who I am. The difference between what I want vs. what I need.
I bring over a decade of study in various forms of holistic healing practices including: Aligned yoga flow, Pilates mat work, breath work mindfulness practice, yoga massage with tune up balls as well as active functional movement.
Being a high energy, self-motivated Instructor, I place great emphasis on alignment, intuitive sequencing and playful dialogue. I encourage students to work to their best potential without self-judgment. Classes are gauged and sequenced according to the abilities of the students. I teach numerous breathing styles to help eliminate stress. Educating as well as instructing is important to me. A good understanding of why yoga is so beneficial helps create a commitment to the practice.
And of course, we cannot overlook what we put into our bodies. From what you eat, to how much time you spend scrolling on your phone, and what you are digesting mentally, it all affects your Whole Body Wellness.
The last ingredient is Laughter!
If we cannot laugh at life and ourselves, our journey is made so much more difficult.
So laugh loud and often!

Opening your mind, heart and body with the practice of yoga is a gift to yourself. Whatever stage of life you are at, yoga will meet you there.

Mat Pilates, a beautiful compliment to the practice of yoga. Strengthening your core muscles, using your own body weight as resistance, pilates creates long, lean muscles, control over movements and a unique understanding of what it means to be truly strong.
My favourite class. Focusing on gentle Yoga, light mat Pilates, Barre, Qi gong, Essentrics, loads of stretching, twisting, sitting, standing and supine work. Healthy Back loosens, lengthens and strengthens the entire body without the loading of joints, or making you sweat. Benefits include: freedom from back pain, joint pain/stiffness and increased flexibility/mobility.
The Healthy Back Practice is considered maintenance for all ages and abilities.

Holistic living is a lifestyle nourishing three parts of your life: mind, body, and soul. That might sound a little hippy-dippy however it's actually a healthy and positive way to enjoy life.
A holistic lifestyle will be different for everyone, there is no one size fits all. It's looking at the big picture – the whole person, from the inside out, because it’s all interconnected, all must be in balance for a harmonious healthy life.
